Open or create
Enter creates a Receiz identity. Use existing account opens the original Identity Record you provide. The source is inspected on your device. A protected legacy record asks for its original unlock phrase; new self-contained records do not require a separately generated recovery phrase.
The same account access
Opening your ID gives the approved account access, including supported Receiz messaging. Financial actions still have their own exact review and authorization. You do not create a separate identity for conversations, asset ownership or account history.
Back up the original
Use Back up my Identity Record and keep the downloaded original private. A screenshot, edited image or renamed file is not a substitute for its structured source. If the original requires a phrase, preserve that phrase separately. Never publish a private Identity Record on your Showcase.
History is carried evidence
An Identity Record can carry verified account summaries and available history, but it need not contain every private transaction. Retained receipts and original assets add their own evidence. Reopening an identity is not the same as reconstructing every local record or restoring device-qualified Note custody.
Explore the public ledgerBefore removing a device
Resolve held Notes and unfinished requests before removing your ID or clearing storage. Removing the ID stops that browser’s open access; it does not revoke other copies of the Record or erase public records. Protect the device and every private original that can open the identity.
Method, sources and assessment
This explanation describes the supported implementation. Exact protocol requirements come from the pinned Receiz contracts and original sources. A reference result does not qualify a production deployment or a physical device.
