Start with an unmatched event
A period-end review leaves one payment unmatched. Open its original receipt and compare the participants, exact amount, moment and confirmed result with your working records. Retain the original with the event reference so the next reviewer can inspect the same evidence.
Match the value that was received
For a Note, distinguish a retained incoming original from a confirmed account credit. Verify the recipient binding, exact units, funding composition and recorded result. An interrupted response should recover the same operation; it should not become a second payment merely to produce another confirmation.
Inspect the funding basis
Follow the funding evidence carried by the event. Reserve backing and exact Settlement Phi remain distinct when both contribute. Calculated FIFO can explain attribution from a pooled source basis, but it must stay labeled as calculated rather than as a fund allocation recorded by the original transfer.
Connect a custody claim to its item
For a physical asset, identify the item, custodian, admitted receipt and defined transferable claim. An intake request remains a request until the corresponding custody evidence is admitted. Review the actual rights and ownership transitions instead of inferring possession from a listing or photograph.
Pilot one receiving operation
Choose the role, source format, account scope and supported operation you intend to implement. Use the matching Receiz contracts and readers. Exercise altered sources, wrong recipients, duplicate claims and interrupted recovery, then retain the actual results with the assessed version and configuration.
Use the existing technical materials
The Standards material states requirements and evidence boundaries. The institution integration guide covers custody, receiving and assessment responsibilities. The developer material identifies the SDK and source contracts to compose. These are concrete starting points for a scoped integration; they do not certify an entire institution.
Method, sources and assessment
This explanation describes the supported implementation. Exact protocol requirements come from the pinned Receiz contracts and original sources. A reference result does not qualify a production deployment or a physical device.
