Fractional ownership

A defined share. An inspectable whole.

Follow the connection

Before

Identify the current owner, defined rights and applicable predecessor.

An explanatory model. No account action is performed.

Define what a share represents

A fractional position needs a specific underlying claim, unit definition and supply. Owning a number of units does not by itself establish access, redemption, income or legal title. Those rights must be explicit in the source and supported by the relevant evidence.

Count exact units

Unit amounts and total supply follow exact rules. A display percentage is a presentation of that ratio. Transfers and supported issuance must preserve supply and prevent the same units from being assigned twice; rounding in a screen cannot authorize additional ownership.

Connect to custody

For a physical item, the asset receipt and custodian establish the backing relationship. For a digital claim, inspect its corresponding rights and original. Share supply, backing and owner transitions need to remain linked rather than becoming unrelated labels.

Review supported execution

A share definition alone does not guarantee that purchase, division or redemption is executable in every deployment. The available action must identify its admitted contract, current proof and authorization. Do not infer a live market from the existence of a share count.

Inspect the result

Keep the source that records the actual share position and any related payment. A valuation of the whole is different from the executable price of a share. Liquidity, proceeds and redemption availability require their own evidence.

Method, sources and assessment

This explanation describes the supported implementation. Exact protocol requirements come from the pinned Receiz contracts and original sources. A reference result does not qualify a production deployment or a physical device.
