Ownership, rights and physical custody
Read exactly what is owned, which transitions changed it, and which rights need separate evidence.
Name the right being transferred
Authorship, current ownership, a share position, copyright, a license, physical custody and redemption rights are different claims. Each requires its own admitted source. A creator name, media file, public valuation or purchased unit cannot silently establish every right to the underlying work. Read the offered scope and source before approving an operation.
| Claim | What to inspect |
|---|---|
| Authorship | The authored source and its provenance. |
| Current ownership | Admitted holding and current source/head. |
| Market position | Exact shares and recorded trades; the portfolio view is an observation. |
| Copyright/license | Actual granted rights and their source. |
| Physical custody | Accepted custodian possession, title/rights and applicable delivery contract. |
| Redemption or cash exit | Actual supported route, terms, funding and available capacity. |

Two trading families
Generic Market uses a dollar-budget or supported share-sale review. Native-backed ownership uses the native asset ID, current head and genuine funded offers, with quantity and Reserve/Settlement choices. A public routing certificate identifies the native relationship; the financial writer reopens actual current sources. Do not use generic share instructions as a replacement for a native ownership review.
Physical deposit requests
Deposit → An asset can record a physical item, security or property request with description, quantity, estimated unit value and a photo/document. Continue saves a sealed request. Awaiting verified receipt or Awaiting custody instructions describes its current intake state. The request carries createsSpendableValue: false. Shipping information is operator-selected delivery metadata, not proof of custodian acceptance, possession, title, transferable rights or funded Reserve.
Hold or move in kind
A Vault can carry admitted supported Originals and investment units under their separate custody contracts. Moving an investment in kind preserves quantity, cost basis and history; it is not a new purchase or sale. Copying public ownership evidence does not transfer the private authority to act. Keep each complete current Original and recover any unknown transition under the original request.
