Assets & market

Create and inspect an asset Original

Prepare the original work, public details and exact units, then preserve the canonical source through creation.

Choose the creation path

Open Market → Create an asset. Public original seals and retains the authored source for publication without moving money or committing backing. Create with backing stages the same source and adds its separate exact funding review. Both preserve the Original, artwork, attachments, full text and supplied details as one authored source. Public details are deliberate disclosure.

An asset remains connected to its source
  1. ComposeAuthor files, text and details.
  2. SealRetain the canonical Original.
  3. Fund if selectedApprove actual backing separately.
  4. PublishDeliver that same source.

Prepare the work

  1. Enter Title and Description

The current limits are 80 and 2,000 characters.

  2. Choose original

Use the actual work file. Choose cover or Poster when the media needs separate artwork.

  3. Add files and full text

Attachments have a Role and Description and can be reordered. Full text stores an essay/reading text separately from the original files.

  4. Review Asset details

Check Short code and Defined units. The default supply is 1000; exact units must be positive and fit supported six-decimal precision.

Use the supported capacities

Current composer limits
InputLimit
Combined authored files64 MiB total.
Audio, video or PDF original64 MiB within the combined budget.
Other original or each attachment16 MiB.
Cover12 MiB.
Attachments200.
Full text100,000 characters.
Short code2–8 letters/numbers, starting with a letter, or generated from the title.

Keep complete source files when a limit is exceeded. Do not trim proof-bearing originals or discard required history to force admission. Actual codec, reader and host delivery behavior retain their own limits.

Add useful credits

Music details support release title, artist, genre, writers, producer, label, ISRC, date, territories and release type. Book details support author, subtitle, contributors, publisher, language, edition, series and ISBN. Video has credits. These supplied fields make the work legible; writing a credit or ownership description does not independently establish title, a license or physical custody.

Inspect before and after publication

Check every public file, attachment and full-text field before Create asset. Retain Save original proof after sealing. Asset page, Open public source, Inspect proof and History & original evidence expose the supported source and history. Media playback and artwork are presentations of the source, not substitutes for its proof. Creation, funding and public delivery have separate results, so use the matching recovery action rather than create another asset.
