Assets & market
Read positions, trades and historical value
Understand held shares and cost basis without turning a portfolio observation into ownership or execution authority.
Open Investments
- Open Assets → Investments
Inspect Current value and Unrealized return separately from account cash and Showcase.
- Select a holding
Read Your shares, Price per share, Average cost per share, Cost basis and Portfolio allocation where supplied.
- Read the dates and trades
First purchased, Last trade and Your trades provide the recorded sequence.
- Open Trade history
A complete sale removes held quantity but does not erase recorded trades.
Interpret the values
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Current value | Held shares marked against public price, or last recorded Market price when no public price is available. |
| Cost basis | The remaining recorded acquisition basis. |
| Unrealized return | Current holding value compared with remaining basis; missing basis stays unavailable. |
| Trade amount/fees | Actual supplied result of the executed trade. |
| Portfolio allocation | The position’s portion of the supported private portfolio observation. |
Read a historical value chart
The investment chart is historical value. Purchases and sales change its total, so it is not labelled investment performance. Supported reconstruction uses recorded quantities only when net buys/sales reconcile to the current holding and pricing operands bind to the asset. Unsupported history remains a current observation. Exited positions are outside the current-holdings curve while Trade history retains their recorded events.
Keep observation and authority distinct
The portfolio contract explicitly has market-observation authority for display. It does not admit ownership, create account credit or authorize a trade. Complete account-bound reads and retained same-identity observations preserve presentation; they do not replace the current source and approval required for another action. Public asset pages do not invent a public order book or trade tape from private portfolio data.
Recover and save a recorded trade
A retained trade is looked up under the same account, asset, side and client nonce. The accepted record must match quantity/request and original attempt. Foreign or mismatched data cannot close an unknown checkpoint. Trade recorded reports the actual units and settlement only after its original rows are validated. Market trade record → Save trade record preserves the observation; keep the stronger financial/ownership originals when independent proof is required.
